Best Creatine I've Tried: My Honest Review from Kenya

I've been taking creatine on and off. I've tried different brands, and I wanted to share which the best creatine in Kenya that worked for me.

This is not about which creatine is scientifically the best according to research. This is about which creatine worked the best for me, personally.

Optimum Nutrition Creatine

In the past, I was using Optimum Nutrition creatine. It's a big brand, but it was not the best creatine for me.

It gave me really bad stomach cramps. I was not able to tolerate taking it, and by the third day, I just stopped. I could not take those stomach cramps anymore.

Clean Creatine

From there, I went to Clean Creatine. It comes in a black tub.

I had done a lot of research because I wanted to increase my weightlifting performance, and I knew creatine was the way to go. I read a lot of reviews online on Amazon and other websites, and I decided to try Clean Creatine.

With this one, I didn't experience any stomach cramps. I was able to tolerate as much as 10 grams a day.

Again, I'm not saying you should take 10 grams of creatine. This was just the dose I wanted to take. In fact, I wanted to go up to 15 grams a day for both muscle and brain benefits, but I'm not recommending my dosage. Go by what works for you.

I took this for about a month. My weightlifting capacity increased easily by 20 to 30 percent by the second week.

By the time I was crossing one month taking this creatine about once a day, I was already pushing up to 100 pounds in bench press and about 270 pounds in deadlifts.

Again, I'm not saying you're going to push or pull as much weight as I did. You probably would do more. Such results are individual, but at 48 years old, I'm very happy with those results.

Orgain Creatine 

Later that month, I was doing my shopping online research, and I discovered an Orgain creatine. It's marketed as a micronized organic creatine, and that is what the brand is known for.

I decided to try it. It was slightly cheaper than Clean Creatine.

I'm not going to say it never caused any stomach cramps, maybe because I was already used to taking creatine anyway since I'd been taking it for about a month. But I tolerated this product very well. I didn't notice any stomach cramps.

I continued experiencing gains, and I enjoyed the cheaper cost compared to Clean Creatine.

Creatine HMB

The third one is actually Creatine HMB. I've taken it once.

It's quite expensive compared to the other two, and it's marketed as the best creatine, especially for the elderly who are losing muscle.

I'm 48 years old, and muscle loss is real at this age. The muscle loss progression is much faster now than when I was 30.

My Final Ranking

So which creatine is the best in Kenya? In my opinion, I would still go with Clean Creatine.

1. Clean Creatine: right from the box, I didn't have any cramps. This is the one that gave me the best gains and the best tolerance.
2. Organic Creatine: very clean, mixes well with water or juice, and I tolerated it really well.
3. Creatine HMB: only tried once, expensive, but well regarded for muscle preservation as you age.
4. Optimum Nutrition: the cheapest, but I've given it the lowest rating because of how bad my stomach was cramping. Every time I took it, my stomach would cramp and I felt like vomiting.
